π₯ How to Run IGBOT and Onimator as Administrator
Running your IGBOT (main.exe) and Onimator (Onimator.exe) programs as Administrator ensures they have full system permissions to operate without being blocked by Windows security features or restricted by the operating system.
π Why This Is Important
- Prevents permission-related errors that can interrupt bot operations
- Allows database access and updates without restrictions
- Reduces the chance of Windows Security blocking actions or flagging processes
π½ Step 1: Locate the Program Files
- Open your Onimator installation folder
- This is usually the folder where you installed or extracted the bot.
- Look for these files:
main.exeβ The IGBOTOnimator.exeβ The Onimator
π‘ Tip: If youβre unsure where your bot is installed, right-click your desktop shortcut β Open file location.
β Step 2: Run as Administrator (One-Time)
- Right-click the
.exefile you want to run (e.g.,main.exeorOnimator.exe) - Select Run as administrator
- When the User Account Control (UAC) prompt appears, click Yes
This will launch the program with elevated privileges for that session only.
βΎ Step 3: Always Run as Administrator (Recommended)
To make the program always start with admin rights:
- Right-click the
.exefile β Select Properties - Open the Compatibility tab
- Check the box for Run this program as an administrator
- Click Apply β OK
β
Repeat these steps for both main.exe (IGBOT) and Onimator.exe.
β Best Practices
- Store your bot in a folder that is excluded from Windows Security scans
- Always launch with administrator privileges to avoid permission errors
- Keep your bot up-to-date for the latest fixes and compatibility improvements
