Last updated May 27, 2026 · 3 min read

This guide explains how to configure a proxy on an Android device using SuperProxy (or similar apps) and how to enable the Proxy Rotation feature so that the IP address rotates automatically between accounts in IGBot.

Overview

To use a rotating proxy on Android, you will need:

  • A proxy provider (with IP, port, username, password)
  • A Proxy Rotation URL (API link)
  • A third-party proxy app (SuperProxy or SocksDroid)
  • IGBot device settings configured correctly

Once set up, the bot will rotate the proxy IP before starting the next account.

Supported Proxy Apps

You can use any proxy app, but the following are recommended:

⚠️ These are third-party apps and must be installed manually on your Android device.

  1. Download and install SuperProxy from the link above.
  2. Open the app after installation.

  • Profile name – Any name (e.g. Default Profile)
  • Protocol – HTTP / SOCKS5 (depending on your proxy)
  • Server – Proxy IP or Host
  • Port – Proxy port (e.g. 8001)

✅ Make sure all fields show a green checkmark.

Step 5: Add Proxy Rotation URL in IGBot

Once the proxy is connected on the device:

  1. Open IGBot
  2. Go to Device Settings
  3. Locate the Proxy / Proxy Rotation section
  4. Add your Proxy Rotation URL (API link)
  5. Save the settings

📌 The bot will now trigger IP rotation before starting each new account.

How Proxy Rotation Works

  • The Proxy Rotation URL requests a new IP from your proxy provider
  • IGBot calls this URL between accounts
  • Each account starts with a fresh IP address
  • This reduces IP overlap and improves account safety

Important Notes & Best Practices

  • If you use one proxy for multiple devices and:

    • All accounts run during the same hours
    • The proxy supports rotation

👉 You only need to add the Proxy Rotation URL on one device

  • SuperProxy must remain installed and connected

    • If the app disconnects, the proxy will not work
    • Always verify proxy connection before starting the bot
  • Proxy apps are third-party tools
    • Configuration errors may cause connection issues
    • Always double-check credentials

Summary

  1. Install SuperProxy or SocksDroid
  2. Add your proxy credentials
  3. Save and connect the proxy
  4. Open IGBot → Device Settings
  5. Add the Proxy Rotation URL
  6. The bot rotates the IP automatically between accounts
