The Comment Feeds tool is Onimator’s Reddit home-feed commenter. When enabled, the bot scrolls the Reddit home feed and leaves a comment on posts as they appear, using a configured comment template that supports spintax rotation and [AI]-generated contextual replies.

Built for Reddit growth operators who want organic-looking presence across a wide subreddit spread rather than targeting specific posts — the tool works with whatever the home feed serves.

💡 Strategic Purpose: Reddit growth lives and dies by comment quality. Volume without contextual relevance gets downvoted, moderated, or subreddit-banned within days. Comment Feeds trades throughput for pacing, capping daily volume at 15 by default and requiring per-comment delays so the account looks like a real user engaging with what the algorithm shows them.

The tool runs per-account through the account’s Settings, alongside Upvote Feeds and Upvote Post. Timer-tab active hours still apply — the tool only runs during the account’s configured session windows.

⚠️ Reddit is heavily moderated. Comments that look off-topic, spammy, or repetitive get removed by mods, downvoted into the negative, or trigger subreddit-specific bans. Comment quality matters more on Reddit than on Instagram or TikTok.

⚠️ Prerequisites

Before Comment Feeds can produce quality output, two things need to be in place:

• 🔑 AI integration configured in Global Settings → Integrations if you want to use the [AI] placeholder. Without an AI provider (OpenAI, Cupid AI, or FluidTalk), the [AI] tag in your template will not resolve and comments will fail.
• 🕐 Timer tab configured for the account. Comment Feeds respects the Timer’s active hours. If the Timer says the account is offline, no comments fire even with the tool toggled on.

⚙️ Access the Comment Feeds Tool

1. Open the Devices screen in Onimator.
2. Click Manage next to your Reddit phone.
3. Click the Settings button next to your Reddit account.
4. Click the Comment Feeds tab at the top of the tab row (Overview, Timer, Upvote Post, Upvote Feeds, Comment Feeds).

🔧 Comment Feeds Configuration

Master Toggle

• Comment Feeds — Toggle at the top of the tab. When ON, the bot scrolls the home feed and comments on posts as they appear.
• Status badge — Shows COMMENT FEEDS ON or COMMENT FEEDS OFF in the top-right.

Comment Template

The text the bot posts. One spintax message that supports rotation across multiple variations and the [AI] placeholder for contextual AI-generated replies.

• Edit Comment Template (button) — Opens the template editor. Paste your spintax template here. Example: {Interesting|Fascinating|Solid} take on this. [AI]
• Edit AI Comment Prompt (button) — Opens the AI prompt editor. Configure how the [AI] placeholder should behave — tone, length, persona, subject-matter constraints.

💡 The [AI] placeholder is the difference between comments that look automated and comments that read as genuine engagement. A static template (no [AI]) produces visible repetition across posts and gets flagged fast.

Comment Feeds Action (per-session volume and pacing)

• Comments per session (Min / Max) — Total feed comments per session. Default: 5–10.
• Delay per comment (Min / Max) — Seconds between each feed comment. Default: 3–6.
• Comment feeds daily limit — Max feed comments per day. Default: 15.

⭐ Reddit comment automation is one of the most bannable actions on the platform. The default 15/day limit is conservative for a reason — Reddit accounts that comment at high volume across unrelated subreddits get flagged by mods within days.

📅 Recommended Workflow

Warm the Account First (Days 0–14)

1. Configure the Timer tab for the account’s active hours.
2. Run Upvote Feeds and Upvote Post only. Do not enable Comment Feeds during warm-up.
3. Let the account produce upvote-only activity for at least 7 days to establish a baseline behavioral pattern.

Introduce Comment Feeds (Day 14+)

1. Prepare a spintax comment template with the [AI] placeholder included.
2. Configure the AI Comment Prompt with a clear persona and tone.
3. Set conservative pacing: Comments per session: 3–5, Delay: 5–10, Daily limit: 8.
4. Flip the master toggle ON.
5. Monitor the first 3 days for downvote patterns and mod removals. Reduce further if either appears.

Scale Cautiously (Day 30+)

1. If the account has stable karma and no mod removals, raise the daily limit toward 15.
2. Do not exceed 15/day unless you have a specific reason and are ready to accept higher ban risk.

🔐 Best Practices

Always Use [AI]

Static templates — even with rich spintax — get flagged as bot behavior on Reddit within days. The [AI] placeholder that generates a contextual reply based on the post is what makes Comment Feeds usable long-term. Without it, ban risk is materially higher.

Invest in the AI Prompt

The AI Comment Prompt is where quality is won or lost. Weak prompts produce generic replies that Reddit users spot immediately. Strong prompts produce replies that reference the post content directly and add something to the conversation. Iterate on the prompt until the AI’s replies would pass as a real user’s comments.

Keep Daily Volume Low

Even the max 15/day is aggressive for a fresh Reddit account. Older accounts with strong karma can sustain closer to 15. Newer accounts should stay well below.

Match Persona to Account History

If the account’s Reddit history is technical, the AI prompt should reflect that. If the account is casual, the AI prompt should be casual. Mismatched persona and history is one of the fastest ways to get flagged.

Combine with Upvote Feeds

Comment Feeds works best in combination with Upvote Feeds. Accounts that only comment with no upvote activity look automated. Accounts that upvote and comment at natural ratios look like real users.

⚠️ Common Issues

Bot Comments but Comments Look Generic

Cause: Template does not use [AI], or the AI Comment Prompt is too vague.
Fix: Add [AI] to the template. Rewrite the AI prompt with specific persona, tone, and subject-matter instructions.

Comments Get Removed by Subreddit Mods

Cause: The AI-generated replies violate subreddit rules (self-promotion, low-effort, off-topic).
Fix: Update the AI Comment Prompt to explicitly avoid promotional language and require topical relevance. Some subreddits are stricter than others — you may need to test which subreddits the account can safely comment in.

Account Loses Karma Rapidly

Cause: Comments are being downvoted because they lack context or add nothing to the conversation.
Fix: Improve the AI prompt. Consider pausing Comment Feeds and running only upvote activity for 7–14 days to rebuild karma before restarting.

Bot Skips Most Posts

Cause: The home feed may not have many commentable posts (locked threads, deleted posts, pinned mod posts), or the account is running near its daily limit.
Fix: Check the daily limit setting. Verify the Timer tab has enough active hours.

[AI] Placeholder Not Resolving

Cause: AI provider not configured in Global Settings → Integrations, or API key exhausted / invalid.
Fix: Verify the AI integration is enabled and the API key has credits. Test with a single comment before scaling.
