🧠 Overview
The Overview Tab is the gateway to everything else in the Reddit bot. It tells Onimator which Reddit account this phone runs, stores the login so the bot can re-sign-in when needed, and sets whether the account uses a cloned app. Every other tab (Timer, Upvote Post, Upvote Feeds) depends on it being set correctly first.
⭐ One difference from the other platform bots: Reddit’s Overview includes a Password field, not just a username. The bot uses the stored credentials to log back in automatically when the Reddit session expires.

⚙️ Access the Overview Tab
- In Onimator, open the Devices tab.
- Click Manage next to your Reddit phone.
- Click the Settings button next to your Reddit account.
- The Overview tab opens by default (it’s the first tab in the row).
🔧 Overview Configuration
Section 1: Login Credentials
Used to sign in, either manually on the phone, or via the bot when the session expires.
Username
The Reddit username the bot runs (the field shows the u/ prefix automatically).
- Enter the exact username (without the
u/, it’s already shown). - It must match the account logged into the Reddit app on the device.
- Treat it as the account’s permanent ID, changing it later re-keys the account’s settings.
Password
The account’s Reddit password. The bot stores this so it can auto-relogin when the session expires, keeping the account running without you manually signing in. Use the eye icon to show / hide the value while typing.
- Enter the current password for the account.
⚠️ Treat this as sensitive. It’s stored to enable auto-relogin. Keep your device and Onimator install secure.
- If you change the Reddit password later, update it here too or the auto-relogin will fail.
Section 2: App Cloner
Assign this account to a cloned Reddit app. Leave None for stock Reddit. App cloning lets you run multiple Reddit accounts on one physical phone, each in its own isolated app instance.
Enable NomixCloner / App Cloner
Checkbox. When enabled, this account uses the cloned app package specified below it. NomixCloner is the Onimator addon that creates these isolated app clones.
- One account per phone: leave OFF, the stock Reddit app is all you need.
- Multiple accounts per phone: turn ON and assign the cloned Reddit app package (created via the NomixCloner addon in the sidebar).
⚠️ Wrong package = bot can’t launch the app. If you enable App Cloner but point at the wrong package, the bot won’t open the correct Reddit app.
📅 Setup by Scenario
Single Reddit Account on a Dedicated Phone
- Username: the exact handle logged into the Reddit app on this phone
- Password: the account’s current Reddit password
- Enable NomixCloner / App Cloner: OFF
Multiple Reddit Accounts on One Phone
- Each account has its own Overview entry with the right username + password.
- App Cloner: ON for each, pointing at that account’s cloned Reddit app package (set up first via NomixCloner).
🔐 Safety & Best Practices
Set the Overview Tab First
Every other tab depends on it. Username binds the account; without password the bot can’t recover from session expiry.
Keep the Password Current
If you change the Reddit password, update it here the same day or auto-relogin fails silently.
Double-Check the Username
A typo means settings get keyed to the wrong account. The username here must match what’s actually logged into the Reddit app on the phone.
App Cloner = Multi-Account Only
For a single account on a dedicated phone, leave App Cloner OFF. Enabling it without a real clone in NomixCloner causes the bot to fail to launch.

💡 Implementation Tip: Save the Overview the moment you provision a phone, before configuring Timer or any of the Upvote tools. Treat the password field as required, even if you don’t expect session expiries, you’ll want auto-relogin available when one inevitably happens.
